New Watchdog Group Keeps Eye on Public Officials

The Foundation for Ethics in Public Service has been formed by Frank Perry (who spent 22 years with the FBI and ran the Raleigh Bureau office) and Les Merritt (former State Auditor)
Per their website, http://www.ReportPublicCorruption.org/, the Foundation's mission statement is:
The Foundation for Ethics in Public Service, Inc. seeks to bring a new level of transparency, accountability and integrity to all levels of American government. The Foundation will accomplish its mission by receiving and independently investigating allegations of corruption in government, providing reports of corruption to investigative journalists, and pro-actively educating government leaders and the general public on the true nature of ethics in government as well as the causes and remedies of public corruption.
Citizens can report (anonymously or not) "illegal and unethical acts committed by local, state and federal public officials" at http://www.ReportPublicCorruption.org/.
