On March 9, 2010 the American Board of Disability Analyst notified Ada Markita Fisher, MD, MPH that she has fully met all requirements of this duly constituted Board of professionals dedicated to practicing the highest standards of achievements in evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation services and is hereby certified forthwith as a DISABILITY ANALYST AND FELLOW having demonstrated exceptional professional qualifications, training, and work experience in the ulti-disciplinary consultative domain of comprehensive disability analysis. This follows on the heels of Dr. Fisher's February 2010 selection to the American College of Physician Executives. This certification further fits its with Fisher's administrative experience as a VAMC-Salisbury, NC Service Line Chief in Occupational Health Services, medical director of a Fortune 500 company-Amoco Oil Company, a 16-county Substance Abuse Detoxification Director at the Butner, NC John Umstead Hospital, and previous founding Medical Director for the Plain View Health Center in Greenevers, NC serving the poor as well as migrant laborers. In addition, Fisher is well published in Occupational Health having helped developed standards of care for services delivered in Workers Compensation cases and has an excellent history of decreasing the cost for such services without compromising the quality of care.
Dr. Fisher is currently the North Carolina Republican National Committeewoman. Though currently retired on disability Fisher plans to continue being active in helping veterans and others obtain medical disability benefits, participates in some on-going continuing medical education, and giving her input on how to make health care better serve the public and be more affordable without overtaxation or driving jobs away.
FIRST, those crazy Democrats still drunk with power following the 2008 elections and Arlen Specter's decision to give them a filibuster proof super-majority ... decided that they didn't "need no Republicans" to pass a Health Care Reform their socialist special interests masters would love ... So, they completely shut out Republicans from the discussion of crafting the Health Care Reform Legislation
(SIDENOTE: Before you buy into the Republicans are partisan hacks focusing on their own good at the expense of the country line from the Left in Washington, remember that the Senate Republican Caucus includes the likes of Susan Collins, Olympia Snowe, George Voinovich, Lindsey Graham, Lamar Alexander, Dick Lugar, John McCain, Bob Corker, Johnny Isakson, even Judd Gregg who was offered and initially accepted a position in the Obama Administration(!!). These are men and women who compose 25% of the Republican Caucus and (usually to the extreme disappointment of those of us on the Right) have a loooooong collective history of working with Democrats on bipartisan legislation.)
